The Evolution of Me

We've all had our hearts broken atleasr once before or had a break up or two, Right? So can someone please explain to me why it is that there is rarely ever a clean break? Why must Exs come back. I mean did they forget something!?! Im just confused.

I was with my first love for almost 5 yrs and he did me wrong so many times. Finally after about 3 months of moping and wallowing I have gotten over him. YAY!!! I've even started talking to another guy who has managed to make me happy for the last 6 months. Wouldnt you know it, out the blue comes my Ex, callin my phone, WHYYYY???

I mean he hasnt called this long so why now? Do ex's have some type of radar out that when they sense you being happy they have to come and ruin it? I mean what is it? Can sumone please tell me. And I'm not the only one. I've seen it happen counltess times to my mother, my friends, my family. Do they not want you to be happy after you leave them?

So I've been talking to this guy for about 10 months and things are out of control. When we first started talking he told me he didnt want a relationship. Ok cool. I really wasnt looking for one either and I'm still not. But I'm really tryna figure out what his deal is. He kisses me, holds me, hugs me, takes me on trips out of town, out to eat, movies, calls me at work all day and my cell. Basically 80 percent of a given week, we are together or on the phone. But he doesn't want to be in a relationship? FOOL we are in a relationship you are in denial.

Why are guys so afraid of commitment? It is not a death sentence. No one is trying to trap you, or change who you are or what you can do.I cant say that for all females, but the majority of the ones I know are cool. Just because you are in a relationship doesnt mean you have to give up having you own life and be around that person 24/7. There is something called BALANCE. I know especially for me, I like my alone time and if I'm around someone too long, I get sick of them quickly. So them being able to go off and do their own thing once in a while is good and refreshing.

I wish that guys would realize that being in a relationship could be one of the best experiences in their life if they would open up and allow it to happen to them. Stop tryna be pimp or playas or thinkin being single and free to "sow their oats" because at the end of the day having one special person that puts a smile on your face with just their voice is 100 times better than 20 girls that at the end of the day mean nothing.
